The following outlines the OSA's mandatory Coaching Certification Requirements in SWRSA:

Coaching Development

The Ontario Soccer Association is committed to coaching development for all. Whether you're a parent wanting to volunteer, a player exploring other opportunities to be involved in the game, or a soccer professional wanting to advance your career, we have courses and resources for you. All course registration is done online.

In addition to coaching courses, the OSA puts on the annual Soccer Development Conference, expanded from the yearly Coaching Conference, to bring the best minds from across the world to Ontario.

Long Term Player Development (LTPD) Community Courses*

  • Active Start (U4-6)
  • FUNdamentals (U7-8)
  • Learn to Train (U9-12)
  • Soccer for Life (U13+)

*Make Ethical Decisions and Respect in Soccer are also required for these courses.

Competitive Courses*

  • C Licence Course
  • B License Course
  • OSA Goalkeeper Diploma Course

Monday to Wednesday   9am - 5pm
Thursday                         10am - 6pm
Friday                                 8am - 4pm
