Registrations will be approved upon receipt of payment. Cash or cheque is accepted in person at the SWRSA office. Payment via credit card can be taken over the phone. Contact the SWRSA Office at 519-894-5965 or to arrange payment.

SWRSA Match Official Kit of Choice

SWRSA's Match Official Kit of choice for the Outdoor 2018 season is Adidas 2016 and 2018. If the entire game crew has the Adidas 2014 it is also acceptable.

The use of the identified kits is required for Youth Competitive and Senior Competitive games at the District, Regional, and Provincial levels.

As the governing body with jurisdiction to identify the kit of choice SWRSA is working diligently with suppliers to support the decision by providing a discounted offering. Please stay tuned for further information on offerings.

Canadian Premier League Names First Commissioner!

 The CPL Board of Governors has confirmed the appointment of David Clanachan as the first Chairman and Commissioner of the Canadian Premier League. Canada's highly anticipated professional men's  soccer league is set to debut in spring 2019.

Indoor Ontario Cup Registration is Open!!!

Ontario Soccer has now released the Ontario Indoor Cup registration forms for team entry. To access the forms follow the provided link, read though the registration process and eligibility information, and scroll to the bottom of the page:

OPDL comes to SWRSA

Congratulations to the following SWRSA clubs for successfully achieving OPDL Licenses:

Waterloo Minor Soccer Club

Both clubs will be fielding U13 Boys and U13 Girls teams in the OPDL for Outdoor 2018.

SWRSA to host Ontario Soccer Discipline Chair Course!

South-West Regional Soccer Association is hosting an Ontario Soccer Discipline Certification Course this March and it is Free to attend for all SWRSA residents !!!

Who can attend?

SWRSA residents at no cost.

Out of district residents at a fee of $30.00.

Discipline Chair Course Details:

Date: Saturday, March 24th, 2018
Time: 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
Location: CORE Lifestyle & Recreation Complex
Address: 401 New Dundee Road, Kitchener ON, N2P 2N8

Refreshments (coffee/water) and lunch will be provided by the onsite restaurant Moderno. 

How to Register

To register please email Keisha Ponte at prior to Friday March 16th, 2018 to reserve your spot. In the email please include your name, contact information, association to SWRSA (club / league), and position (coach, administrator, parent etc...).

Match Official Assessors

Follow the link to access the SWRSA Assessor Expense Form.

Assessors will be paid $60 per game assessed.


Referees found to be officiating unsanctioned games will be charged accordingly under Ontario Soccer discipline policy 4.58. For further details outlining risks of officiating unsanctioned games can be found on the South West Soccer Referees' Association in the article titled UNSANCTIONED GAMES.

Game Report Submission Process

Electronic Game Sheet submissions will be permitted for the Outdoor 2015 season and moving forward. To email game sheets and reports, please follow the directions below:

To be considered accepted the email submission must include:

A. Subject Line containing:

- League Name
- Game Number
- Referee's Name

B. Game Sheets and Reports

- Attached Scanned PDF's only !

Images of game sheets will NOT be accepted.

Please note there are Free Apps available to allow you complete this process from your phone.


SWRSA publishes the information of all parties required to attend regularly scheduled discipline hearings along with the rights of the accused. The primary method of notification is provided on this website. A courtesy letter / email will also be issued to the club and league where the infraction occurred for information purposes. 

As per Ontario Soccer Procedure 5.4.2 the accused may request the Misconduct Report(s) up to 30 minutes prior to their hearing.
