Making Ethical Decisions
Thursday, Feb 2nd, 2017 - 6:30pm @ RIM Park, Waterloo

To register for the MED course, please fill out the Registration Form and submit it to the SWRSA Office with payment to reserve your spot.  

Payment for all Clinics can be made by cash, cheque or VISA/Mastercard (in person or over the phone).


Membership Renewal Form

Members must renew membership on a form provided by the district association prior to the AGM. Required documents for submission and payment ($70.00) are identified on such form. A late fee of $100.00 will be charged to clubs that fail to renew membership prior to the AGM.

SWRSA Holiday Hours

Canada Soccer LTPD Outreach Survey

Canada Soccer has launched a country-wide survey of grassroots soccer to assess the degree of implementation of Long Term Player Development (LTPD) in the game. The outreach campaign aims to understand in more detail the degree to which LTPD's implementation has been effective and where work remains to be done. 2017 OSA Soccer Summit - Tickets now on sale!

The Ontario Soccer Association announced that it will be hosting the Ontario Soccer Summit 2017 at the Oshawa Civic Complex and Trent University (Durham Campus) from March 3-5.  Tickets are now on sale! Please click Read more below for more information on the Summit!

2016 National Championships Results

Congratulations to Kitchener SC and Waterloo United on their respective tournaments at the National Championships held this past weekend! 
The Kitchener Spirit 99A Girls went undefeated through the U-18 Girls group play with a perfect 4-0 record and faced the Internazionale from Edmonton in the Gold Medal game. Despite having the majority of the chances, the Spirit weren't able to find a way through and fell 1-0 to the side from Alberta. 
Waterloo United, who had been undefeated through their U-14 Girls group play, downed St. John's SC from Newfoundland with a solid 2-0 victory, securing the bronze. Well done ladies!


2016 David Forsyth Cup Champions!

Congratulations to Croatian Hrvat from the KDSL on claiming the 2016 David Forsyth Inter-League Cup! The finals versus Predators FC from the TMSL 1st Division was a back-and-forth hard fought game with lots of chances for both sides. Thank you again to all teams that participated and we hope to see you again next year!



Congratulations to Waterloo United 02A Girls and Kitchener Spirit U17 Girls A for their respective Ontario Cup Championship victories! 

Waterloo would come from behind to earn the U-14 Girls Ontario Cup by downing Oakville 3-2 on penalties.

Kitchener defeated Saltfleet Stoney Creek by a score of 3-1 to claim to the U17 Girls title. 

Both teams will represent their Club and the District at the upcoming National Championships October 5th-10th!

SWRSA to Host OSA Discipline Chair Course

SWRSA will be hosting an OSA Discipline Chair Course at NO COST to SWRSA residents. 

Discipline Chair Course Details:

Date: Saturday, March 11th, 2017
Time: 9:00a.m. To 5:00p.m.
Location: Budd Park, Lounge 
Address: Kitchener Soccer Club, 1111 Homer Watson Blvd, Kitchener ON N2C 2P7

The course is free of charge with lunch and refreshments provided by SWRSA.

Out of district residents may attend at a fee of $30.00

To register please email Keisha Ponte at prior to Friday March 3rd, 2017 to reserve your spot. In the email please include your name, contact information, association to SWRSA (club / league), and position (coach, administrator, parent etc...).

Match Official Assessors

Assessors will be paid $60 per game assessed.


Referees found to be officiating unsanctioned games will be charged accordingly under OSA discipline policy 4.58. For further details outlining risks of officiating unsanctioned games can be found on the South West Soccer Referees' Association in the article titled UNSANCTIONED GAMES.

Game Report Submission Process

Electronic Game Sheet submissions will be permitted for the Outdoor 2015 season. To email game sheets and reports, please follow the directions below:

To be considered accepted the email submission must include:

A. Subject Line containing:

- League Name
- Game Number
- Referee's Name

B. Game Sheets and Reports

- Attached Scanned PDF's only !

Images of game sheets will NOT be accepted.

Please note there are Free Apps available to allow you complete this process from your phone.


SWRSA publishes the information of all parties required to attend regularly scheduled discipline hearings along with the rights of the accused. The primary method of notification is provided on this website. A courtesy letter / email will also be issued to the club and league where the infraction occurred for information purposes. 

As per OSA Policy 5.4.2 the accused may request the Misconduct Report(s) up to 30 minutes prior to their hearing.
